We all have quite a lot of battery powered devices anymore and cruise ships can be finicky when it comes to electrical gear and lack outlets. Many lines have strict rules about power strips, surge protectors, and anything with cords or extension cables because of safety concerns.
However this simple travel plug adapter without a cords is typically allowed and this lets you take your EU outlet and convert it to a standard US outlet all while adding a standard USB and 2 USB-C charging ports at the same time. It can be orientated in either direction which is beautiful if you have a wall near by that would block the ports otherwise.
For us, this means as soon as we step into the cabin, our cameras, phones, headphones, and backup battery packs all stay charged without fighting over the limited plugs/ports
It’s a small thing, but when you’ve got kids, cameras, watches, and multiple devices to keep running on sea days and port days alike, this little adapter can make a big practical difference.
